Jana Michalkova

Jana Michalkova, PhD (specialization: nursing) is a university lecturer at the Department of Nursing Care, Faculty of Medicine, Pavol Jozef Safarik University in Kosice, Slovakia. She has been a member of the research team of the IRES project – ‘Innovation for Knowledge Society’ (ITMS project code: 26110230075), and LDV project (Leonardo da Vinci) No. SK/05/A/F/PL-5032124 ‘Internship of nursing students focusing on the comparison of nursing theory and practice’, Matera, Italy. In research activities she focuses on community nursing. She is a coordinator of health education for patients in outpatient and inpatient health care and community-oriented care. She is also active in clinical practice. Scientific outputs: a total number of 113 publications, including research papers and abstracts.
