PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The main aim of this project was to identify the most successful (and least successful) coping strategies in patients with multiple sclerosis. The analyses were focused on wide categories of coping with stress as well as specific behavioural strategies like planning, seeking of instrumental support, or positive reframing, which have an effect on the physical and mental quality of life in people with multiple sclerosis. In the same context with social participation and social support, we seeked to design an intervention based educational program focused on the identification of the most successful coping strategies for people with multiple sclerosis.
